Agate, Fossilized Coral from Withlacoochee River, Lowndes County, Georgia, USA

$65.00

A unique and beautiful mineral/fossil specimen from Florida. It features a large cut and polished half of a fossilized Coral nodule from Tampa Bay in Florida. Part of the rind of the Coral has been replaced by absolutely gorgeous, reddish-brown Agate and the center exhibits the incredibly detailed and quite beautiful original structure of the coral. The coral FLUORESCES nicely under both shortwave and longwave UV light (next photo shows LW).
